2024 University of Canberra-Canberra Health Services Mental Health PhD Scholarship
This PhD scholarship program provides opportunities for an outstanding postgraduate student with demonstrated academic and research excellence to further their careers in addressing ‘real world’ issues that have impact on practice and policy.
The aim of this PhD Program is to evaluate the impact of local work area wellbeing initiatives on the wellbeing of healthcare staff and broader organisational outcomes.
The successful candidate will be enrolled into our flagship PhD Plus programme and be integrated into high performing academic teams in a world class research environment.
PhD candidates will be awarded a scholarship stipend of $32,000 per annum, comprising a tax-free living allowance for 3.5 years.
Research areas
The successful candidates will be supervised jointly by staff at UC and Canberra Health Services.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- meet the University of Canberra’s admission requirements;
- meet residency requirements for a domestic student;
- not be currently enrolled in a PhD program at another university at the time of application;
- apply as a full-time candidate;
- Be available to start full-time in July/August 2024
Successful candidates can be located on the UC campus in Bruce.
