Upholsterer / Machinist

Carleton Custom Upholstery is a family-owned business that has been operating for over 50+ years in Queensland, located in Brisbane and Toowoomba. We focus mainly in residential and occasionally commercial furniture upholstery and restoration. Carleton strives itself on providing high quality workmanship.
We are looking for an experienced high-quality upholsterer or machinist to be located at our Toowoomba factory. Someone who is good with all aspects in upholstery or a machinist, with a minimum cert III in Upholstery and skill such as:
Upholstery
Sprung edge
Diamond buttoning
Recliners
Antique work
Cutting
Sewing
Machinist
Overlocking
Joining fabrics/ pattern matching
Twin stitching
Working with leather
Cutting
Sewing
Key duties in either role will include:
Working in a time efficient manner
Working in a team environment for effective production
Identifying quality issues
Using industrial machines
