Urology Receptionist

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience at our urology clinic.

Position:Urology Receptionist
Location: Western Urology
Employment Type: Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Schedule appointments, surgeries, and procedures efficiently, while maintaining accurate records.
• Answer phone calls promptly and assist patients with inquiries, appointment scheduling, and general information.
• Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and collect necessary payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and timely communication of urgent matters.
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing patient charts.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a medical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with Clinic to Cloud (C2C) System.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathetic and compassionate demeanor towards patients and their families.
• Knowledge of urology terminology and procedures is a plus, but not required.
