Utilities Locator

First Fleet Recruitment is an Australian owned and operated recruitment agency specialising in the recruitment of engineering, mining and construction services across Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Utilities Locator to join a dynamic organisation where you will be highly appreciated. Based in Perth, this company supports gas, electricity, water and other infrastructure projects throughout the Perth area.

To be successful in this role we require the following:

• DBYD Certified Locator or can complete the assessment- https://dbydlocator.com/certified-locators
• Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
• First Aid - Workplace and CPR - Preferred but not essential
• Western Power Network Induction - Preferred but not essential
• Drivers Licence (C) and good driving record
• White Card
• ATCO Approved Locator - Preferred but not essential
• APA Permit Issue Officer - Beneficial but not essential
• Ground Penetrating Radar Training - Preferred but not essential
• Confined Spaces and Gas Atmosphere Training - Preferred but not essential

You will participate and build on the "Safety First Culture" through planning, preparation, proactive risk and hazard assessment and implementation of controls, communication of actions, issues and resolutions.Consult with clients (Engineers, Site Supervisors, Construction / Project Managers) on project requirements, work plans, programming and opportunity to manage risk and cost for the client and your employer.Deliver strikeless jobs with a final risk assessments and client handover providing exceptional client serviceParticipate in HSE Toolbox, workshops and learning each month including training programs and initiatives.

The Pay:

$38.00-$50.00 per hour base rate plus superannuation and penalty rates
