This dynamic organisation is committed to providing excellence in service delivery and represents the interests of approximately 170,000 residents living in the area that this role will support. Your new role As a UX Lead you will support the Digital Experience team to deliver sector-leading digital experiences with a focus on bringing together the needs of both the business and customers and ensuring the digital platforms deliver great customer experiences and outcomes. The UX Lead is responsible for delivering end-to-end UX/UI design for a range of projects and initiatives across the organisation's Digital channels. You will take an active role in customer research, scope/definition, design, and development in support of best-in-class digital experiences. You must be well versed in User-Centred Design and Design-led product development techniques and be able to translate customer and business insights into value adding digital experiences. You will have the flexibility to work under Hybrid Culture! What you'll need to succeed

Minimum of 5+ years' previous experience and proven capability working as a UX Lead developing user focused, responsive web and digital design products.
Demonstrated knowledge of Human Centred Design (HCD), design thinking, and Agile methodologies.
Proven experience with a strong work portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking as well as a deep understanding of UI/UX/HCD best practices.
Demonstrated experience planning and conducting user research and testing, and familiarity with various research and mapping techniques to capture and design the user experience.
Demonstrated competence in wireframe development and prototyping, usability testing and W3C web accessibility standards.
