About the Role: UX/UI Designer

Join our Product team as a UX/UI Designer and play a pivotal role in shaping innovative digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface Design: Develop innovative and user-centric UX/UI design solutions for a range of digital platforms, including wireframes, visual designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, and prototypes.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend design requirements, including conducting user journey mapping and aiding the development team in defining acceptance criteria.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Create wireframes and prototypes to facilitate testing, validation, and in-depth discussions with clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Development Collaboration: Work collaboratively with development teams to ensure the transformation of designs into meaningful digital experiences aligned with the intended vision.
  • Ideation and Co-design: Facilitate ideation and co-design sessions with product teams to foster creative thinking and cross-functional cooperation.
  • Quality Assurance: Undertake visual QA testing and provide constructive feedback to the development team to maintain design integrity.
  • Pitch Enhancement: Identify and actively contribute to closing opportunities by creating mock designs for potential clients and strategically upselling our services when applicable.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry best practices, principles, and emerging AI tools that enhance UX/UI outcomes, sharing your insights with the team.
  • UX/UI Strategy: Develop comprehensive UX/UI design strategies by investigating user experience requirements and conceptualising effective design solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Effectively collaborate within the design team, liaise with internal product teams, engineers, and clients, fostering positive relationships and contributing to long-term business partnerships.
  • User Behaviour Analysis: Provide advice and guidance on implementing UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyse and predict user behaviour.
  • Design Standards: Adhere to established style standards for typography and graphic design to ensure design consistency and quality.

Skills:

  • Mobile App Focus: At least 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong emphasis on mobile app design, accounting for 80% of your role. Demonstrated ability in creating engaging and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
  • Web App and Website Design: Experience with web app and website design, which will comprise around 20% of your responsibilities.
  • User-Centric Design: Proficiency in user-centric design methodologies and principles, with a specific focus on mobile user experience.
  • Concept to Launch Expertise: Proven track record in bringing mobile app concepts to life, from initial ideation to final launch (0 to 1), along with some experience in web projects.
  • Tool Proficiency: Comprehensive experience with Figma.
  • Prototyping Skills: Highly competent in rapid concept development and prototyping, especially for mobile apps, ranging from low to high fidelity.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate design concepts, processes, and to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt design practices and processes to meet the unique requirements of mobile app design while maintaining proficiency in web design when needed.
  • Fluency in English: Excellent written and spoken English is essential for clear communication within the team and with clients.
