Aussie Broadband is on the lookout for a dynamic UX/UI Network Automation Engineer to join our team, to revolutionise the way we deliver connectivity solutions. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love to innovate, and dream in code, this is the role for you!
To be successful in this role you will have:
Good collaboration skills, fostering technical growth and development through strong mentoring and leading by example
Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.), TypeScript, Python/Go, CI/CD pipelines, and possess a solid understanding of containerized solutions like Docker and Kubernetes.
Showcase passionate leadership and mentoring skills with a proven track record in the telco industry.
Excel in troubleshooting within a service provider arena, with a solid grasp of highly available networks, network operating systems (Cisco IOS, Junos OS), and experience in Linux/Unix environments.
Drive continuous improvement by creating and enhancing deployment processes to boost velocity and delivery quality.
Embrace a strong documentation culture, ensuring clarity and transparency in every step of the network evolution.
How will you support our “Why?”
Work closely with other Network, operational, and support teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive approach throughout Aussie Broadband's Network.
Identify inefficiencies within Network Engineering processes or systems and champion improvements for enhanced productivity.
Design, build, deploy, and maintain automation and orchestration tools, with a laser focus on frontend solutions to elevate our engineering capabilities.
Assist in the development of Core Network and critical asset monitoring and escalation systems, ensuring robust and reliable network performance.
Contribute to the development of tools handling capacity management and alerting, ensuring the network is always ready for whatever comes its way.
Assist in shaping the primary CMDB requirements for the business, playing a pivotal role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date configuration management.
