The Opportunity - if you are interested and have some but not all of the requirements below, we would still love to hear from you. 

• Prepare and load parts for Vacuum Brazing, Heat Treating and surface treatments.
• Perform quality checks throughout process related to part dimensions, cleanliness, part fit up and braze quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on various equipment within department.
• Perform pyrometry checks, SAT, TUS, instrument calibrations etc.
• Good manual dexterity and familiarity with general workshop tools.
• Be able to identify process trends and non-conformances while performing day to day activities.
• Prepare and process metallurgical samples obtained from the brazing process.
• Aid in achieving and maintaining certification/qualification on all equipment and processes.
• Aid in establishing and preserving documented procedures.
• Aid in masking of parts for chemical processing such as anodising.
• Ensure attention to detail and quality while meeting production schedules.
• Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping practices. Uphold clean room environment.
• Perform and participate in inspections, audits and resolving non-conformities.
• Work with others to promote and maintain a positive working environment.
• Complete other work as required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Perform hardness testing.
• Good computer (word, Excel, email) and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software packages.
• Working with Aerospace & Defense customers
• Familiarity with;

1. AS9100 – Quality management certification.
2. AWS C3.7M/C3.7:2011 – specification for aluminium brazing
3. AMS 2750 – Pyrometry
4. AMS 2769 – Heat treatment of parts in vacuum.
5. AWS 2770 – Heat treatment of wrought aluminium alloy parts.
6. NADCAP accreditation.
7. CQI-9 – AIAG Special Process: Heat Treat System Assessment
