The Validation Chemist will design, develop, validate and verify analytical methods for the testing of raw materials, finished products, stability and process validation.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct method development, validation, verification, and transfer activities for pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products
- Write and execute protocols, reports, and test methods related to raw material and finished product testing.
- Prepare technical reports and scientific packages for internal and external use.
- Operate routine laboratory equipment - HPLC, Gas Chromatography (GC), UV/Vis, TLC, FTIR Spectrophotometer, Dissolution (Apparatus I and II)
- Tertiary qualifications in Science or related field
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry
- Experience in HPLC, Gas Chromatography (GC), UV/Vis, TLC, FTIR, Dissolution (Apparatus I and II)
- Knowledge of BP, USP, EU/PH & ICH guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Project management skills are a plus
