BSS Bus Services and Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled Vehicle Painter to join our team. As a Vehicle Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint to vehicles, primarily buses, ensuring a high- quality finish and adherence to safety standards.

- Prepare buses for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces as required.
- Mix and match paint colors to ensure an accurate and consistent finish.
- Apply primers, base coats, and finishing coats using spray guns and other painting equipment,ensuring even coverage and a smooth finish.
- Perform touch-ups and minor repairs to ensure paintwork meets quality standards.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and recommended procedures for painting various types of buses.
- Match and mix paint shades according to specifications or customer preferences.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Monitor and maintain painting equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Conduct quality inspections to identify and correct any defects in the paint finish.
- Complete all assigned painting tasks within specified timeframes.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification III or relevant training in automotive painting.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Vehicle Painter.
- Proficiency in surface preparation techniques including sanding and cleaning.
- Knowledge of paint mixing, matching, and application methods.
- Experience with spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Strong color perception and matching skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Physical stamina and dexterity for working with tools and standing for long periods.
