Vehicle Services Manager
St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. (St John NT) is the Territory’s leading provider in emergency medical response and preparedness. We do this by providing a range of services from ambulance services under contract to the Northern Territory Government, coordination of emergency medical responses, event health services and first aid assistance at community and major events through to nationally accredited first aid training, community education and first aid products and equipment.
The Vehicle Services Manager is responsible for the managing the day-to-day operations of the Workshop including but not limited to building of new ambulance vehicles, monitoring the quality of repairs, annual preventive maintenance, implementation of health and safety standards, and performance appraisal of Workshop staff. The person will lead a team of people, allocating their workload within the Northern and Southern workshops, coordinating resources and liaising with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and at the required quality standard.

- Experienced Workshop Manager.
- Committed and ready to lead a multi-skilled team.
- Strong people skills with the ability to nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound technical knowledge. Mercedes Benz commercial vehicle experience will be highly regarded.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately document, report, and present results and statistical data.
- Has an eye efficiencies, value-add initiatives, and growth/investment opportunities.
