VENUE MANAGER/ BAGEL DELI
We’re on the hunt for a talented VENUE MANAGER with barista skills to join our fast paced team.
If you have the right attitude, demonstrate great communication skills and are willing to learn, we’ll provide the training for you to learn and progress with plenty of opportunities for growth.
You will be responsible for;
- A seamless and smooth management of our day to day operations.
- Oversee the opening and close procedures including reconciliation of financial transactions and banking.
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere and encourage exceptional customer experience among staff.
- Knowledge of grinder and coffee machine adjustments as well as set up.
- Team recruitment and training, onboarding, performance management.
- Develop and manage staff rostering to comply within guidelines and targets.
- Develop and implement growth strategies to drive profitability } Plan in conjunction with chefs our fortnightly specials, special events, mothers day, Easter, etc.
- Ensure Both venue and staff presentation is always clean, tidy and on brand to adhere to company standards.
- Conduct staff meetings and on going training sessions with line staff.
- Manage any in person or virtual interactions including complaints and feedback.
- Plan and conduct with chef 2 x deep clean’s a year.
The ideal candidate will have attained a degree, Advance diploma or diploma in hospitality or management or both. Familiarity with back office and pos interface.
Qualification will be looked at alongside your employment experience. A required employment of 2 years with the above qualifications or 3 years experience without qualifications will be considered.
We operate Wednesday to Sunday from 8am to 2pm every week. Generous staff discount will be on offer for the successful candidate.
