Job roles and responsibilities
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled venue or restaurant manager to join our team. Responsibilities include:
- planning menus in consultation front of house and back of house teams
- planning and organising special functions
- arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
- maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- overseeing rostering and compliance
- ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
- selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
- may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in a pub or restaurant
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Responsible service of alcohol.
- Focused and able to follow directions.
- An understanding of service skills and the ability to prioritise our people
- Adaptable and keen to learn.
- Capable of building effective relationships with staff.
- Genuine interest in recruitment, training, and development.
- Exceptional communication and presentation.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
- Work visa can be provided for this role
