Verification/Surveillance Manager (Nominated Authority)

MACA Infrastructure are seeking a Verification/Surveillance Manager (Nominated Authority) to join our team based on-site supporting a major civil project - M80 Ring Road Completion Project. The position will be responsible for ensuring that construction works strictly adhere to the contractual specifications by the controlling of contractual Hold Points (VicRoads specifications)

Responsibilities will include:

• Physically inspects the works and the completed quality assurance documents to verify compliance with the Design Documentation when notified a Hold Point requires release
• The general surveillance of works; if issues are identified, the VM will immediately notify the Engineer responsible for the works, if a major issue is identified, Inspection Form will be completed capturing the issue
• Assist in the early identification of issues, particularly in areas that will affect the release of Hold Points
• Review/development Inspection and Test Plans
• Utilise CX, the M80 Ring Road Completions' Project Management System to perform Hold Point release, Inspection and Reporting functions
• Reporting/providing feedback/attending Meetings with the Quality & Completions Manager and Zone Quality Representative, as well as wider Construction Team when required

We are looking for:

• 10+ years' experience in construction
• 3+ years' experience as a Construction Verification/Surveillance role or similar
