Your New Chapter:
Join our team as the Veterinary Manager and take on a dynamic role where you'll be the driving force behind the clinical growth of a region of veterinary clinics. Your mission? To champion excellence in care standards, nurture talent, diagnose profitability challenges, and ensure clinical governance assurance.
As the Vet Manager, you'll be the linchpin in achieving both clinical and business success, collaborating closely with Regional Managers and clinic leaders to set the bar high. You'll serve as the voice of veterinary expertise within the regional operations team, shaping strategies for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Veterinary leadership with a focus on standards of care
Legislative compliance
Clinical and team member development and education
Building a sense of community and belonging to a network amongst veterinary team members and clinics
Promoting the value of the Vet Partners network and the opportunities it has to offer eg Veterinary Training Centre
Participate in the wider Veterinary Services group within the business
Support Medical Advisory Board initiatives and projects, through presenting and embedding protocols and policies
Supporting the recruitment process for new veterinarians into our network to find the right clinic and cultural fit
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor of Veterinary Science, current Veterinary Board Registration, user's license for Ionising Radiation and Microchipping.
Travel is required for this opportunity
Minimum three years in a veterinary leadership role; ability to manage caseloads and review standards.
Exceptional collaboration and team building skills, including high level of emotional intelligence.
Demonstrated coaching and mentoring ability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Financial acumen and confident reporting abilities including understanding of the P&L.
