Clinical Nurse

Bayside Paediatrics Department are looking for a Clinical Nurse to join their team. Lamb Ward at Redland Hospital provides inpatient hospital care for infants and children up to 17 years of age. These patients may be admitted for, but not limited to, Paediatric medical conditions, minor general surgical procedures, food allergy testing, diabetes, palliative and oncology care, sleep studies and specialist infusions. Lamb Ward has the capacity to open eleven (11) beds, including Paediatric Short Stay Unit.Job details Position status Permanent

• Provide advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of Paediatric patients/residents/clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Work autonomously within the healthcare team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivering of Paediatric specialist nursing care.
• Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research.
• Support management activities including portfolio responsibilities.
