We are looking for a Casual Veterinary Nurse to join the team at our North Ringwood Clinic!
Greencross Vets North Ringwood is a long-standing practice with an inclusive and cohesive team and a very loyal and trusting client base that really value our team and their advice. We encourage open communication and contribution of ideas from all team members, bringing a real ‘family feel’ to the clinic. We are a stand-alone clinic with four consult rooms, theatre, a treatment space, separate dog and cat wards, x-ray, ultrasound, and in house lab equipment!
About Your New Job:
- Casual role undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Providing great customer service in person and over the phone, including booking appointments and giving advice
What You’ll Bring:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years clinical nursing experience
- Applicants must be confident with surgery
- An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Strong communication skills
- A calm and friendly presence with a team player attitude
- Experience with RXworks advantageous
