GVC are providing recruitment support to a modern purpose built 1 Vet practice located in North Melbourne, Hadfield location.
GVC are looking for a Trainee Nurse/ Receptionist to join this wonderful team. Your working week would me a Monday & Tuesday each week - 8:30am-6:30pm. A mix of surgical Nursing & support & front of house/reception & administration & some cleaning.
The successful applicant will:
- Vet Nursing training in process and has ideally completed Cert II in Animal Care, are you willing to complete Cert IV Vet Nursing
- Highly motivated
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-growing clinical environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work efficiently in day-to-day task including inpatient care
- Ability to make our clients and their pets feel comfortable and important.
Duties:
- Surgical nursing duties
- Reception/front of house
- Greeting clients & pets / customer service
- Cleaning of cages / feeding & walking dogs
- Restrain dogs, cleaning cattery
- Answering telephone & making outbound client calls.
