The Romsey Veterinary Surgery is fully equipped to manage medical and surgical cases in the full range of companion animals, equine and livestock.
About the Position:
We are looking for a part time or full time experienced Veterinary Nurse to complement our team.
We want a passionate nurse to implement their high standards of patient care and have the capability to fulfill surgery, hospital, pathology, treatment, floating and reception shifts.
This is a hands-on nursing role for an experienced nurse; you will need to have the skill set and confidence to place IV catheters, set up fluids, monitor anesthetics to a high standard, perform nurse consults, do basic pathology such as faecal egg counts and love all things nursing.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary TechnicianDegree is essential
- 5+ years' experience in a busy practice. Well-rounded nursing skills and experience with training and mentoring other clinical staff
- Registered Veterinary Nurses are highly regarded.
