As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a passionate and experienced VP Human Resources, Australia to guide our People and Culture team in developing and executing a robust People Strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and delivering impactful outcomes.

About The Role

Working in direct collaboration with our Australian Senior Leadership team, Chief People and Sustainability Officer and your counterpart in the U.S., you will lead our HR operational strategy for Australia, ensuring the seamless navigation of all employment related matters, contributing to the overall day to day operational excellence to ensure the continued growth and success of our business.

In this role, you will drive change and influence our Australian business and:

  • Lead the delivery of all aspects of HR Operations including HR business partnering, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, talent management, learning & development and remuneration & benefits.
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to divisional leadership teams, providing expert advice, supporting change initiatives, and managing complex stakeholder engagements.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the global HR direction and with the company's vision, and values.
  • Implement best practices in performance management, career development, and succession planning to support employee growth and development.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being through effective communication, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organisation, fostering an environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered.
  • Lead HR operations and compliance, ensuring adherence to employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Measure and analyse HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of people programs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with global HR counterparts to develop and deliver the HR strategy and keep continuity in its vision.
  • Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective HR operations
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

About You

We're looking for a results-oriented leader who can influence and build positive relationships.

Key to your success will be your:

  • Experience leading HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, organisational capability, talent management and compliance.
  • Proven capability in leading the implementation of various people and culture initiatives, encompassing employee and industrial relations, compensation, leadership, performance and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and experience driving DEI initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders effectively will be essential as will be your capability and willingness to be hands-on and operationally focused.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives and programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at all levels to deliver on organisational goals and priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills managing people dispersed across multiple locations
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen to make sound decisions fostering performance.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology platforms.
  • A degree in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology, or a related field,
