A rare opporunity for an experienced Victorian EOL Restoration Managerto join the UBS team. You have full oversight and management of our remediation team that respond to escape of liquid, mould remediation and contamination claims. The successful person will work closely with the Technical Construction Managers, Senior Project Managers and Coordinators, Hygienists and Restorers along with internal claims administrators, consultants, local authorities, surveyors, builders, sub-contractors, property owners and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that restoration works are completed to the highest standard, in an efficient timeframe, and at the most cost-effective price and ensure KPI's are achieved or exceeded
- Lead and mentor a small team of EOL Project Manager, EOL Project Coordinator and Restoration Technician
- Oversee daily operations of Contamination/Restoration claims.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Restoration team and subcontractors.
- Streamline processes to reduce restoration claim duration.
- Lead, train, and develop employees in the Restoration team
- Manage sub-contractors, trades, and restorers.
- Monitor the scope of work, track work progress, manage variations and on-site quality, and safety.
- Manage escalations, investigate complaints, liaise with insurance companies and respond to customer inquiries.
- Compile and collate data from inspections, generate defect reports and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure contract documentation is accurate and compliant with policy
- Analyse restoration claims data to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
About You
- Have a background in the Restoration and Insurance Building industry
- Have residential construction and remediation mitigation knowledge gained through hands on experience and training
- Qualifications in relevant trade with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Working knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Good people management and customer service skills
- Analytical with strong attention to detail with good time management skills
- Have good computer literacy with demonstrated administrative and organisational skills
- Industry knowledge on WHS systems, processes, and standards on-site
Desirable (training will be provided to experienced applicants)
- IICRC Accreditation in Water Remediation (WRT)
- IICRC Accreditation in Mould Remediation (AMRT)
- IICRC Accreditation in Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration (FRST)
- Certificate IV Building & Construction
