Job description

About the role:Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other department-wide projects.This role leads high quality digital and creative content production (video and photography content) for priority projects across the department.They work closely with Branch colleagues, minister's offices and relevant business areas within the department and will use video and creative content to tell stories that demonstrate the benefits of government policies and initiatives. They are responsible for ensuring all creative content is clear, engaging and timely, and aligned to the department's digital strategy and strategic plan. They identify positive story opportunities for provision across digital media platforms.They deliver multiple priority projects concurrently, working closely with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to support delivery of wider communications and stakeholder engagement objectives.They manage a small team of video producers and liaises with external agencies. They will effectively manage and balance priority work, stakeholder needs, and the delivery of high-quality creative products to enable achievement of the department's strategic objectives.They are responsible for developing strong relationships with portfolio communication teams and will be responsible for collaborating with the branch, including developing engaging creative content for social media and other channels as well as creating compelling digital media products for a range of purposes and audiences, including video, photography and social media content.As appropriate, they may also be required to provide surge support to other policy portfolios to ensure effective media and communications services can be delivered by the Branch during emergency, crisis and peak periods.About us:At the Victorian Department of Health we want a future where Victorians are the healthiest people in the world.
