Work with the surgical multidisciplinary team in providing excellent patient care within Calvary Mater Newcastle to maximise the health outcomes for the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and execution of innovative programs in both the delivery of care and clinical training.
- Work in collaboration with the Director of Anaesthesia to improve service delivery and patient management.
- Work effectively with clinical colleagues to achieve departmental and Ministry of Health benchmarks and targets.
- Contribute to the professional development of senior and junior medical staff.
- Attend relevant committee meetings and present the views of the services to working parties and planning groups as appropriate.
- Ensure that Work Health and Safety standards are adhered to within the hospital.
