About the Role:

As our Visitor Experience Officer, you'll be the maestro orchestrating unforgettable guided tours, tantalising tastings of both spirited and spirit-free delights and keeping the good vibes flowing in our cafe. With retail sales finesse, you'll be the glue that binds our visitors to the magic of Sarina Sugar Shed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided tours that transport visitors into the captivating world of sugar production.
• Offer tastings of our delectable range, both spirited and non-alcoholic.
• Support food and beverage preparation at our cosy café.
• Assist with retail sales with flair.
• Make ticket bookings and ensure a seamless visitor journey.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or retail to showcase your top-notch customer service skills.
• Hold a QLD ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence for smooth facility operations.
• Possess a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification for a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to tailor tours to the unique preferences of each visitor.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Important Note: Weekend availability is essential on a rostered basis, as Sarina Sugar Shed operates seven days a week.
