The Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA) is the State’s premier Art Museum. Situated in the heart of Perth’s Cultural Centre, the Main and Centenary Galleries house the State Art Collection of over 18,600 works by renowned local and international artists from the 1800’s to today, including approximately 3,000 Aboriginal works. In 2020, the Gallery celebrated 125 years of operation.

About the position
Visitor Information Assistants provide a professional, customer-focused reception, information and greeting service to the public who are visiting the Art Gallery. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a contribution to WA’s leading visual arts organisation as we work to present the work of local and international artists for the enjoyment of Perth audiences.
These casual positions will be required on ad-hoc, as needed basis and will include working outside of normal business hours on weekends and possible evenings.
Other Conditions
This process will be used to fill casual vacancies as they arise.
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate and a Working with Children Clearance will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.
