We bring our purpose to life via three shared values: We walk the talk, turn over every stone and keep it human.Job DescriptionThe Australian Financial Review is looking for a Visual Journalist to create rich digital stories using data visualisations, geospatial tools and other interactive elements that will engage and inform our readers.Day to day you will:Build bold and beautiful presentations, charts, maps and infographics that will bring complex stories to life.Work closely with designers, reporters, editors, and producers to deliver insights and context to Financial Review subscribers. And you will also generate and develop your own ideas. There is potential for this to be a team-leading role depending on experience.Use your technical acumen to devise presentations, you will also exercise design and journalistic judgment to ensure the clarity, accuracy and functionality of your work.We would love to see your work.
