The Local Health DistrictMurrumbidgee LHD covers almost 125,243km2. We provide public health services to approximately 243,228 people across the Riverina, Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area and the South Western Slopes of NSW.

Where you'll be working
Boorowa, a gorgeous country town on the South West Slopes of New South Wales, is rich in Irish heritage and pastoral history and provides a great base to explore the cellar doors of the surrounding Hilltops wine region.
Our Health Service is a small 18 bed Multipurpose Service with 12 residential aged care beds, 6 acute care beds and a 24 hour Accident and Emergency Department equipped with telehealth cameras. We also offer a range of community health services include Community Nursing, Child and Family, Allied Health, Diabetes Education and Women’s Health.

What you'll be doing
The GP VMO will provide contemporary comprehensive and professional specialist services in General Practice that are safe, effective, evidence based and patient centered.
Requirements of the role include
- Admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on-call services as determined and required by MLHD
- Attendance and availability during rostered work hours and whilst on-call including clinical handover, clinical supervision, teaching and for emergency and routine care as determined and required by MLHD
- The provision of education and support to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
