About Us
Kingscliff Beach Medical is a privately owned practice with a diverse team of general practitioners, Practice Nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff. We are committed to providing high-quality healthcare to our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform ECGs, spirometry, urinalysis, pregnancy tests, blood glucose monitoring, and blood pressure monitoring.
- Conduct ear syringing, patient triage, wound management, and immunisation programs.
- Assist with minor surgeries, provide chronic disease management, and perform health assessments.
- Coordinate patient care with hospitals and community agencies.
- Manage sterilisation of instruments, cleanliness of treatment areas, and infection control standards.
- Mentor and guide registrars, medical and nursing students.
- Manage supplies, equipment maintenance, and vaccine safety.
- Use recall and reminder systems and adhere to practice policies.
- General administration duties including answering phone calls, using clinical software and supporting reception staff.
Qualifications
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Recent primary healthcare experience.
- Knowledge of NSW immunisation schedule, chronic disease management, infection control, CPR, and emergency procedures.
- Commitment to professional development and compliance with regulations.
Hours of Work
Flexible hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional additional hours as needed.
