THE ROLE - VOLLEYBALL COACHES 2024
Volleyball is part of the Winter fixture competition within the QGSSSA. St Margaret’s has a long history of high participation in Volleyball. The volleyball season runs from May to September.
The volleyball program is coordinated by Teacher Coordinators, a Lead Coach and Coaches. Coaches lead two training sessions per week with fixtures to be held on Saturdays in Term 3 of the school year.
We are currently seeking the following for the 2024 Volleyball Season:
Coaches - The role of coach is to deliver coaching sessions developed by the Lead Coach and which encourage students in skill and technique development. To view the position description please click here.
ABOUT YOU
You will be an experienced and qualified coach who has a proven ability to develop young Volleyball players skills and instil a passion for the sport.
Essential requirements:
- All coaches must have, or be working towards, a minimum Volleyball Australia – Level 1 Coaching accreditation. Volleyball Australia Coaching accreditation or higher will be highly regarded.
- Previous coaching experience.
- Experience in playing volleyball.
- A working with children blue card or exemption card.
- A current first aid and CPR certificate.
