From 1 January 2023 in Queensland, eligible people can access Voluntary Assisted Dying as an additional end-of-life option. WMH VAD Connect is comprised of a small team that will coordinate Voluntary Assisted Dying services for WMH consumers to ensure a seamless, equitable and responsive service.
The purpose of this position is to provide specialised clinical and consultancy services in support of the implementation of the Voluntary Assisted Dying scheme across West Moreton Health. The position delivers advanced clinical, case management and care coordination functions to stakeholders and consumers within WMH and provides education, development, and workforce support to achieve excellence in patient care. A professional background in Psychology or Social Work is required for this role.
