About the role:The Volunteer Mentor Team Leader will be responsible for the operations of the mentoring volunteer program at MacKillop Family Services, based in Warrnambool, Wimmera South West. You will be responsible for recruiting potential volunteers to mentor children and young people currently living in foster care. You will recruit, assess, train and support Volunteer Mentors, and effectively match mentors with children and young people. You will collect data and evidence about effective and ineffective strategies in matching of volunteers, and the personal and social outcomes of clients during mentorship. You will continue to develop this program through the use of evidence based practice. The role will be primarily based in the Warrnambool Office. This position reports to Area Manager.We have 1x Permanent Part-time (22 hours per week) opportunity available based in Warrnambool, VIC within our Out of Home Care Program. Key Selection Criteria:To be successful in this role, you will have: · Experience in recruiting, assessing, training and supporting volunteers.· The ability to work autonomously, managing deadlines, resolving problems and delivering program outcomes.· Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work within a team to identify and meet needs, and lead by influence.· Demonstrated experience in program evaluation and report writing skills.
