Team Leader - Inpatient Unit
- Ongoing full-time RPN5 role | Based in Footscray
- Participate in service development, clinical training and project work
- Make an impact in youth mental health and lives of young people
- Support the IPU NUM to provide high quality leadership and oversight of IPU operations
- Collaborate with the IPU leadership to ensure delivery of high quality care, with a focus on clinical nursing standards and efficient use of resources
- Support with consumer flow and bed management across the IPU
- Review incidents, identify causal factors and develop recommendations to eliminate, mitigate or substitute potential risk issues with the unit
- Relevant registration and qualifications (see position description for details)
- Demonstrated experience as a clinical leader, particularly with managing multidisciplinary teams in an acute mental health setting
- Comprehensive clinical expertise to initiate and lead evidence-based nursing practice in the care delivery to consumers with complex mental health needs
- Demonstrated commitment to the recovery approach in mental health treatment and support, with a focus on working collaboratively with consumers and carers to promote self-determination and enable progress towards reaching consumers personal recovery goals
