Collaborating with kitchen staff: Waitresses communicate orders and special requests to the kitchen staff, ensuring smooth coordination between front and back of house.

Upselling and suggestive selling: Waitresses may also be responsible for upselling menu items or suggesting additional items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.

Handling customer complaints: If guests have any complaints or issues, waitresses are often the first point of contact for resolving them, either by addressing the problem themselves or involving management if necessary.
