SalaryResponsibilities:
• Examining plans, measuring, and marking surfaces and laying out work.
• Preparing Wall and Floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout & adhesive, rendering and repairing holes & cracks, and cleaning substrates.
• Installing screeds to falls.
• Spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles and setting tiles in position.
• Using tile cutting tools to cut & shape tiles needed for edges & corners and around objects such as fittings & pipes. Ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced.
• Grouting tiles, cleaning and removing excess grout.
• Applying waterproofing systems
• Lay all varieties of tiles on external & internal walls and Floors, including but not limited to granolithic, terrazzo, cement, or similar composition as well as coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics.
• Work in both residential & commercial settings.
Essential Skills:
• Certificate Ill in Wall & Floor Tiling
• Minimum 2 years’ experience after certification
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Be reliable, have a great work ethic and positive attitude.
• Able to work in a busy environment and be supportive in team environment.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to follow strict time frames and pre-set schedule. Self-starter and driven.

Essential Criteria:
• QLD Driver's License, or ability to obtain it
• Working Visa for Full time job
• Ability to carry out all aspects of Wall and Floor tiling including sand and cement screed and/or waterproofing with high attention to detail and pride in work.
• Wall and Floor tiling/waterproofing tools.
• Ability to gain OHS general induction card (white card).
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and regular drug and alcohol tests.
• Advanced English
• Must have a basic understanding of how to operate a mobile phone and receive work requests digitally.
