THE ROLE 

We are looking for full time and part time Warehouse Assistants. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Assistant will join the team in assisting with order fulfilment and pre and post embroidery process, also receiving, unpacking, and re-stocking of all Cargo Crew garments in the Warehouse. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not exclusive to:

• Picking of orders with an RF scanner
• Checking orders for accurate picking
• Unpacking items in preparation for embroidery team
• Repacking products after decoration
• Assisting with rubbish clean up around the warehouse
• General clean up and tiding of the warehouse and warehouse equipment
• Unloading of containers 
• Managing aged stock (FIFO) ensuring oldest stock is used first
• Working closely with Fulfilment Team
• Stock replenishments to fill pick shelves 
• Maintaining a WorkSafe compliant environment and reinforce OH&S standards
• Transferring stock from bulk to pick shelves
• Cycle counting inventory 
• Providing feedback to Warehouse Manager around stock and delivery conditions such as packaging and carton labelling to ensure it meets Cargo Crew standards and requirements
• Assisting with the rubbish/Cardboard bins out on allocated days
• Assisting with stock disposal/recycling 
• Ad hoc tasks as requested. 

SAFETY 

• Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times 
• Adhere to OH&S Policy at all times
• Escalate any concerns to Warehouse Manager

Additional Requirements 

Essential 

• Must be computer literate and able to learn new technical systems and processes 
• Must demonstrate a commitment to Occupational Health and Safety regulations. 
• Strong numeracy skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Solid problem-solving skills
• Must communicate and work effectively with the other departments. 

Desirable 

• Manual drivers’ license 
• Forklift license
