About the role:
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a fit and active team player to join our small dispatch team in Brisbane. We're currently relocating, so you will be starting in Southwest Brisbane for the first 3 months before we move to our new Newstead location.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this opportunity is suited to someone interested in growing with the company.
About the role:
- Be familiar with and adhere to all site safety procedures and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with handling and security of product.
- Accurate and efficient picking, packing and dispatch of all business to business (B2B) and business to warehouse (B2W) orders to a high standard.
- Ensure stock is handled and stored in accordance with security/compliance/SOPs.
- Assisting with accounting for all orders and maintaining accurate records as per SOPs
- Maintain the organization and security of inventory at all times.
- Assist with weekly stock takes and the replenishment of stock.
- Processing returns and quarantining faulty stock as needed in collaboration with Quality team.
- Aid with loading and unloading of all incoming and outgoing goods and materials.
- Store items in accordance with storage requirements and space constraints.
- Complete relevant quality and compliance checks as required.
- Act as a representative and advocate of the company at all times.
- Ensure warehouse and packing facilities are cleaned and maintained in good condition as per SOPs.
- Carry out all reasonable instructions from your manager and the senior management team, and within your capability.
Operating hours:
The hours will be 6 am to 3pm Monday to Friday.
About You:
- Experience in a pick + pack warehouse environment.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for accuracy.
- Good mathematical capability and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment
- Well presented
- Physically fit and strong
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Able to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Basic Computer Skills
- Have a good level of written & verbal communication skills.
- You must have full working rights.
