About the role

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking, packing, and receiving inward and outward goods.

This is an onsite full-time role Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Accurate forklift driving and safe manual handling to ensure minimal product damage when storing and selecting equipment before shipment
• Perform quality checks on the equipment and product as determined by the Quality Department.
• Perform maintenance-type functions over shutdown periods.
• Perform all tasks to a high standard to meet Standard Operating Procedures and Codes of Conduct.
• Loads/Unloads trucks per regulations.
• Meet company and customer requirements for product quality, specification, and delivery.
• Plan load-outs, quantities, and equipment and warehouse facility cleaning daily.
• Demonstrate and promote a proactive commitment to health & safety, wellbeing, and the environment whilst complying with all laws and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with workshop colleagues and the production team and management to ensure the long-term goals and targets are met.
• Support company-wide initiatives to improve service levels to our customers.
• Participate in the development of new systems and processes required for the site.
• Be an active functional member of the warehouse/production team. 
• Undertake identified personal training/development as required.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area and tools
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.

What you'll need:

• Forklift License (LF as a minimum)
• Drivers License
• Be resourceful with a can-do attitude and able to work well independently and in a team environment.
• Minimum 5 years experience working in warehouse operations
• Excellent communication skills
• Have an eye for detail, and a flair for juggling tasks and priorities
• Have a good level of physical fitness and the ability to lift and maneuver large and heavy items
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
• Experience in working both within a team and autonomously
• Committed to personal safety and accountability.
• Have the ability to follow instructions, interpret, and work according to installation manuals.
• Be someone who is self-disciplined and motivated.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Outlook skills as a minimum.
