Job Description:Sherwin Williams Automotive Refinish division manufactures and distributes a complete line of paint and coating systems for the automotive and commercial vehicle refinishing industries, incorporating the world's most advanced technology.We are currently looking for a highly motivated
Warehouse Assistant to join our safety and result-driven team. Located in our Wyong Warehouse this position is permanent full time, working a Monday to Friday roster. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the role will offer variety and opportunity to the right individual.
Responsibilities:- Receive and accurately check off inbound deliveries
- Operate forklift, ensuring safety requirements are met at all times
- Load and unload deliveries from vehicles
- Pick & pack orders within designated timeframes
- Perform inventory counts and stocktakes as required
- Consign orders with required documentation
- Perform manual handling, ensuring correct technique is used at all times.
- Re-work and re-label products
- Perform general housekeeping (sweeping, tidying etc)
- Replenish stock into pick locations, using FIFO principles
- Prepare export paperwork
- Perform regular safety checks and inspections
- Operate automatic pallet wrapper, ensuring safety requirements are met at all times
- Provide assistance to other team members as requested
Qualifications:Required:- Accurate numeracy skills
- Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse environment
- Effective communication skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to solve problems
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work alone, and also as a team
- Forklift licence
Preferred:- Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated experience in handling hazardous goods
