We’re looking for a Casual Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive small team. Our ideal candidate is super organised, takes meticulous pride in their work, and can work independently and efficiently whilst juggling a variety of tasks. You’ll be picking and packing orders in our warehouse, performing product assembly, helping to keep the warehouse clean and organised, and operating within our safety and sustainability guidelines.
The goal of our warehouse team is to inspire and delight our customers, giving them a beautiful and sustainable unboxing experience when they receive their order. Our paper products are delicate, so a high degree of careful thoughtfulness is required to ensure orders are packed correctly and arrive in perfect condition.
This is a casual position, and work hours will vary due to the seasonal nature of our business. You’ll be offered shifts from 3 hours up to 7.5 hours in length, between 8.00am to 4pm Monday to Friday (no weekend work or overtime is required.) Morning starts are a must, however we can be flexible around finish times to fit in with your family commitments.
During busy times between Mid-July and Early-December, you will need to have the flexibility to be available up to 30 hours per week. You’ll have the opportunity to stay on with us as a casual in the new year, but there will be less (and sometimes no) work from January through to July. We shut down for 2 weeks following Christmas eve.

To be considered for this role you will have:
Strong literacy skills, with the ability to read, listen to and follow detailed instructions.
A high level of care and attention to detail. You take pride in your work!
An energetic and positive attitude towards work.
The ability to self-organise and work independently.
A good level of physical fitness is essential. Manual lifting of cartons up to 20kg without assistance is required.
Willingness to work on your feet all day and withstand the fluctuating temperature conditions of a warehouse.
A genuine desire to work within environmentally sustainable guidelines.
Ability to be flexible with working hours.
Previous experience as a pick packer is not required, but any transferable skills will be looked upon favourably.
A forklift license/forklift driving is not required but would be a bonus if you have it, and may present a future opportunity to grow your duties beyond pick-packing.
