With the warehousing industry booming, our clients are looking to offer Entry Level Warehouse Assistants with great attention to detail, the opportunity to join their growing teams on a full-time basis. Supplying directly to the mining and construction industries, you will be working in busy warehouses, pick packing small items from nuts and bolts to large heavy machinery items using forklifts, order pickers, high reach trucks and overhead gantry cranes.
Duties of a Warehouse Assistant:
- Pick and pack orders or palletising stock ready for dispatch
- Manual picking and RF scanning
- Unload deliveries and containers using forklifts
- Putting stock into the correct location within the warehouse facility using reach trucks and order pickers
- Following procedures to maintain health and safety standards
- Entry level roles, where you'll be trained from the get go
- Great pay rates at $30ph - $36ph + penalties with optional overtime available
- Good locations across Brisbane, you get to go home every night to be with your family
- Day, afternoon and night shifts available with penalty rates
- Companies offering progression into senior warehousing positions including team leader/supervisory positions
- Prior experience in labouring
- Great attentional to detail - you need to make sure the orders are right for dispatch
- Your extremely organised and like getting items in order
- A team player and highly reliable
- You don't need to come from a warehouse background, our clients are happy to train the right person
- LF Forklift licence prefferded
- If you already have a forklift licence, we can get you a role as an experienced Warehouse Assistant offer $30 - $36ph + penalties
