Federal Hospitality Equipment Pty Ltd is an Australian owned industry leading commercial catering equipment importer operating throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our QLD branch (Stapylton QLD 4207) is looking for a perfect candidate to join the QLD warehouse team.
About the role
Warehouse Assistant QLD (Part-time, 3 days a week)
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Processing orders, which involves collecting and preparing products for dispatch.
- Examine and inspect incoming goods against invoices and ensure its free of damage.
- Load, unload and unpack packages and containers from transport vehicle.
- Sorting items and placing them in the appropriate location.
- Booking deliveries and swap overs.
- Complying with safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
- General housekeeping of showroom and second-hand products
About you
The successful applicant should demonstrate the ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Attributes key to success for this position include:
- Forklift license is required. (Regular & High reach forklifts are used daily)
- Exceptional computer skills predominantly with Microsoft suite
- SAP Business One experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift, move, load, and unload heavy items.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Willingness to work shifts and flexible with working additional hours due to the nature of the business.
Current driver license and access to own vehicle will be highly regarded.
