Unique Health Products is a national health product wholesale company with over 170 team members, occupying 6300 sqm of warehouse space in Kunda Park/Forest Glen, on the Sunshine Coast. We distribute natural, organic, eco-friendly and plant-based grocery, health and beauty products from homegrown and international suppliers to health food stores, pharmacies, online health sites, and grocery and specialty shops across Australia. About the Position
We are looking for casual Warehouse Assistants to join our Replenishment and Goods Receiving teams, based at our Kunda Park HQ & Forest Glen locations.
The main responsibilities of the Replenishment position are:
- Ensuring critical products are replenished efficiently and accurately;
- Maintaining easy access to stock for pickers;
- Moving stock around the warehouses using forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks
The main responsibilities of the Goods Receiving position are:
- Receiving and accurately checking off all delivered orders according to company policy and systems;
- Managing the unpacking area efficiently;
- Loading and unloading pallets from delivery trucks using a forklift;
- Moving stock around the warehouses using forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks
These positions may also have the opportunity to cross-train in our other Warehouse Operations teams, based at our various locations in Kunda Park/Forest Glen. The responsibilities will include bulk handling of products and using an RF scanner.
Skills & Experience
A valid forklift license is advantageous for both positions.
To be successful in this position you must be confident in using electronic/computer-based systems, take direction well, thrive in a team environment as well as have the ability to work autonomously, and be physically capable to manage consistent manual labour, including lifting products and pushing a trolley for an 8 hour shift. We also require the successful candidate to have a customer service approach to all tasks, to ensure we maintain excellent relationships with our internal and external customers.
Both positions will be required to work across our Kunda Park and Cedarbrook (Forest Glen) locations.
Our warehouse teams work Monday and Tuesday (6.30/7am start), and Wednesday to Friday (7am start). Weekly shifts are indicated on a weekly roster and may vary from 3-5 shifts per week depending on workload, productivity and availability. Flexibility to be called into additional shifts is also fondly regarded.
