Jadestone Energy are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join the Supply Chain & Logistics team based in the Darwin Warehouse facility. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate all logistics and warehouse activities; and to ensure all goods and equipment are transported to and from the offshore facilities safely, on time and in good order. This role is a warehouse facility based role operating within working hours between Monday and Friday.

About the role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing the role of logistics coordination among various other supply chain related tasks in compliance with applicable Company procedures, policies and regulations.
  • Working closely with teams across the Australian operations to ensure safe, smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the logistics function.
  • Coordinate supply base activities including, day-to-day supervision of third-party warehouse labour, materials handling, receipting, storage, stocktaking, staging, transport (local, interstate, international) to and from suppliers and Company’s offshore facilities.
  • Maintain Vessel Schedule to suit both supply run and offtake requirements.
  • Coordinate both wharf and stevedoring to suit Vessel loadouts.
  • Raise detailed outgoing manifest, which covers both deck cargo and container contents along with a deck plan.
  • Complete and maintain a logistics operation plan against forecast demand volumes.
  • Where requested, act as the site representative for logistics contractors and suppliers ensuring, where applicable, contractual obligations are met.
  • Check materials and equipment delivered into the supply base are in accordance with the respective Purchase Order prior to receipting.
  • Raise and issue Overage/ Shortage/ Damage (OSD) notices and other non-compliance with the respective PIC for the purchase order.
  • Monitor supply base and warehouse operations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure suitable packing/ labelling/ certification for all items passing through the Supply Base.
  • Maintain Staged Materials and Equipment report for all items scheduled for offshore delivery.
  • Maintain inventory database to accurately reflect physical inventory, including undertaking rolling stocktakes.
  • Monitor and organise planned preventative maintenance of inventory as and when required.

To be considered for the role:

  • The ideal candidate will reside in Darwin.
  • 5+ Years prior experience in a similar role in Oil & Gas Industry (preferable)
  • Relevant technical, logistics and warehousing experience to meet the commitments of the role.
  • Must show initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision, use initiative and adhere to deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge of Oil and Gas industry best practice, including but not limited to Marine, Aviation and Road Logistics, Chain of Responsibility obligations, dangerous goods practices and manual handling.
