About the Position
As a Training & Quality Administrator, you are a highly organised individual who thrives under pressure and can deliver to deadlines while maintaining high standards in records management and document control, with exceptional attention to detail. Based on regular reviews of the RTO’s processes and functions, the Training & Quality Administrator is responsible for reporting to senior management and administering improvement in the RTO’s compliance and QA functions to ensure adherence to the RTO’s policies and procedures, Standards for RTO 2015, ESOS Act, the VET Quality Framework and any other relevant regulatory and legal compliance requirements.
This position is available on a 12-month contract with a high possibility of conversion to a permanent full-time role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Internal reporting, internal audit and reviews, and compliance monitoring
- Internal staff meetings administration and meeting record-keeping
- Trainer profile updates and trainers’ capability building and development
- Conduct student record quality checks and undertake necessary rectifications
- Conduct assessment evidence quality checks and undertake necessary rectifications
- Implement the RTO’s annual compliance and quality assurance activities
- Compliance record keeping and version control
- Implement broader compliance and quality assurance initiatives, including a regular continuous improvement cycle on operational procedures and processes
- Coordinate assessment validation and moderation activities and plan and implement related continuous improvement activities
- Assist with course development including course material contextualization, content design that integrates instructional design
- Assist the academic team in the assessment records retention process and qualifications issuance process
- Assist the management team during external reporting projects and activities
- Assist the management team during compliance-related projects and activities
- Any other duties and responsibilities required by the employer
Essential selection criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time working experience in RTO compliance and/or quality assurance management
- Highly developed organisational skills to manage complex priorities and strong self-management skills
- Demonstrated understanding of VET Quality and ESOS frameworks
- Completed Australian Degree qualification
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with RTO Manager (student management system) and Moddle (learning management system)
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
- Great team player
Desirable:
- Diploma of Quality Auditing
- Experience of external compliance audits
- In-depth knowledge of the VET sector, Standards for RTO 2015, National Code 2018, ESOS Act
- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management
