THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re after our next teammate! Someone to join our close-knit team, to grow with us, be a part of our team meetings and share our vision!
You will be responsible for maintaining the tidiness, orderliness, and safety of our client’s warehouse and yard. Your role will include regular inspections and maintenance of forklifts and trailers, as well as managing freight logistics and bookings.
The role:
- Maintain warehouse and yard cleanliness and safety.
- Sort and pack incoming and outgoing goods on pallet racking.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and manage equipment maintenance.
- Track fleet and personnel.
- Coordinate logistics, book freight shipments, and allocate resources to jobs.
- Load and unload freight.
- Deliver items locally and interstate - sometimes staying overnight for out-of-town deliveries. You might travel every three weeks for trailer deliveries, with all expenses covered.
- Perform quarterly trailer maintenance and servicing.
- Assist with office, warehouse, and site-related tasks as needed.
- Support Project Managers and Operations Manager as needed.
ABOUT YOU
You're mechanically minded, motivated, and a physically fit individual with a positive go-getter attitude!

To be successful, you will need:
- Great time management, able to prioritise and manage your own workload.
- You’re proactive, use initiative and act responsibly to manage your areas effectively.
- Knowledgeable about load management practices.
- Flexible working hours for local and occasional long-distance deliveries.
- Maintain a professional presentation and communication at all times.
- Physically fit for manual tasks including heavy lifting.
- Hold a current forklift license (between 2.5 and 10 tonne).
- Hold a current light vehicle and HR licence and have a safe driving record.
- Mechanically minded and possess vehicle servicing and maintenance skills.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent team player with great people skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Advantageous:
- Proficient with Smartsheet, and Jonas Premier Payroll
- Hold an MR licence.
