The Role
The specific requirements and responsibilities of this role include:
Customer Service
- Be the liaison point for all import / export customers including processing of documentation
- Use your solid knowledge of all Ocean Freight processes to act as an intergral part of the operational and sales teams.
- Be the liaison point with overseas offices & agents and coordinate bookings with customers, transport companies and shipping lines.
- Process and manage import & export shipments, in CargoWise with high levels of accuracy, ensuring all shipment information, documents/correspondence relating to the shipment is stored and followed up.
- Liaising and directing shipments with shipping lines, co-loaders, airlines and transport carriers
- Import & Export Document Processing and Creation
- Invoicing when required
Ideally, we are looking for someone with minimum two years Ocean Export experience, however if you have any Freight Forwarding experience and have a great can-do attitude then we still would like to hear from you!
- CargoWise experience an advantage
- Flexitank and ISOTanks knowledge highly desirable!
- Solid communications skills
- Team minded attitude!
Up to $80,000 + Super (pending skills / experience)
