Key Responsibilities:
- Unload, inspect, and verify incoming stock deliveries against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Accurately record and document all received goods in the inventory management system.
- Inspect products for any damages or discrepancies and report issues to the Inbound Supervisor.
- Safely and efficiently store received products in the appropriate locations within the distribution centre.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and participate in regular stock counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all receiving zones are free of hazards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and or The Google Workspace and inventory management systems such as shopify.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (electric tuggers/stackers, pallet jacks) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kgs).
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in various warehouse conditions (temperature variations, noise, etc.).
- Flexibility and punctuality are essential.
