We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for our Inbound & Inventory team at our Spare Parts warehouse in Dandenong South.
The Inbound & InventoryTeam Leader will ensure the safe, accurate and efficient processing of inbound deliveries and management of inventory by leading a small team. You will be required to lead and coach the inbound team members to follow processes, procedures and to achieve targets within set time frames.
Your duties will include:
- Always ensure compliance with all appropriate and applicable WHS policies and regulations to ensure a safe working environment in maintained.
- Ensure all inbound orders are unloaded, received, identified, checked, repacked and putaway within agreed lead-times.
- Collaborate with the shipping, supply chain planning, and product management teams to resolve any inbound delivery and stock issues within set time frames.
- Manage and maintain the companies stocked product including stock profiles and stock locations.
- Provide continuous training and support in use of the SAP EWM system and their associated procedures to all team members in the areas of inbound, inventory and replenishment.
- Be the key internal contact point for enquiries and issue resolution relating to warehouse inventory and inbound deliveries by managing the Salesforce queue.
- Lead team and self to adhere to Work Health and Safety standards and company policies. Ensure that all Incidents and Hazards are reported on time and lead the first level of investigation for the Inbound & Inventory Team.
- Identify areas of improvement and work with the Warehouse Management team to implement agreed improvements.
- Work with the Outbound Team and the Warehouse Admin Team to resolve issues identified during the picking and replenishment process.
What you will bring:
- Ability to lead and manage people - Previous team leading experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Inventory Management Processes incl. stock control
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and experience using warehouse management systems (SAP preferable)
- Forklift Licence LO/LF is beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills - ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
