Our client is a leading premium chocolate brand. They are currently seeking a committed Warehouse Manager to join their team, based in Port Melbourne Vic.
As a Warehouse Manager, your role will include:
- Assisting the senior management team with resource allocation, training of staff, and developing KPI's
- Implementing work procedures, new policies, and OH&S standards
- Ensuring KPI's are met - including timely dispatch and delivery of products
- Managing monthly costings and budgets
- Setting a positive example for all employees, and motivating the team to meet company goals
- Overlooking all-round operations of the warehouse and office
To be successful for this role, you must possess:
- Proven warehouse leadership experience (minimum 5+ years)
- Previous experience with retail distribution experience
- Transporting and handing perishable products/online orders
- Business knowledge on budgeting, minimising cost, production and planning schedules, etc
- The ability to implement processes and change in order to achieve highest results
- Exceptional organisation, communication, and team work skills
- All the minimum requirements for a Store Worker (ie. forklift licence, picking/packing, receiving/dispatch knowledge, etc)
- The ability to multi-task between the office and DC floor
