Warehouse Operative (Forklift)

Your new company
A national manufacturer and distributor of exclusive solid surface material, this organisation has a down-to-earth, supportive culture and are looking for 2 new team members to become a part of their family. They create and distribute structures for surface areas - think kitchen benchtops and bathroom basins.

Your new role
Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Use of counterbalance and high-reach forklifts with double deep (long tines)
• Accurately and efficiently picking and packing small, medium, and large valuable and structured products
• Receiving goods and putting them away in correct storage locations
• Accurate and efficient dispatch of goods outwards
• Utilising the order management system to print orders, record shipment details and manage back orders
• Booking and processing transport for consignments
• Maintaining stock levels and assisting with managing inventory
• Regular cycle counts and recording/tracking of stock
• Some production work - including sanding products, setting up and operating small hand/power tools

Your shifts will be:
6.30am to 3pm, Monday to Friday - 19-day month

What you'll need to succeed
You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience within Warehouse Operations, and meet the below criteria:

• You have a LF Forklift Licence, and you are very confident with operating counterbalance, high-reach and double-deep/long tine forklifts
• The ability to work well in a team
• Willing and able to complete the physical demands of the job
• Able to complete all aspects of warehouse operations as well as some production duties
• Inventory and shipping knowledge (preferred)
• Proficiency in computer systems/programs
• Able to carry out all tasks safely and understand/adhere to safe working practices
